What our Google Ads management services include
Every plan covers strategy, setup, daily management and reporting across Google and the paid social channels that fit your goals. Most businesses start with Google Search, because it captures people already looking for what you sell, then add remarketing and paid social once tracking is in place.
Google Search ads
Search ads show when someone types a query such as "emergency plumber Parramatta" or "skin clinic near me". We research the terms your buyers use, group them by intent, write ads that match each group and block the searches that waste money. Negative keyword lists are reviewed every week, because the search terms report changes as Google expands matching.
Performance Max and Google Shopping
Online stores need their products in Google Shopping, the image results with prices at the top of the page. We clean up your Merchant Center feed, fix disapproved products and run Shopping or Performance Max campaigns. Performance Max reaches Search, YouTube, Display, Gmail and Maps from one campaign, so we set clear asset groups and exclusions to keep spend on the products that sell.
Remarketing services
Most visitors leave a website without buying or booking. Our remarketing services bring them back with ads on Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, matched to the page they viewed. A visitor who looked at a teeth whitening page sees a teeth whitening offer, not a general brand ad.
YouTube and Display ads
Video and banner ads build awareness in your service area and support your search campaigns. We use them where the numbers back it up, usually for remarketing or for businesses with a visual product.
Facebook and Instagram ads
Meta ads put your offer in front of people before they start searching. We build lead form, booking and sales campaigns, write the copy, brief or produce the creative and connect the Meta Conversions API so results are tracked even when browser cookies are blocked.
LinkedIn and TikTok ads
For B2B services, LinkedIn lets us target by job title, industry and company size. TikTok suits brands selling to a younger audience with short video. We only recommend these channels when your offer and budget fit them.
Conversion tracking setup
Ads cannot improve if the system does not know what counts as a result. We set up Google Tag Manager, GA4, enhanced conversions, call tracking and form tracking before any money is spent, so every campaign learns from real enquiries and sales.
Landing pages
Sending paid clicks to a home page wastes budget. Our web team builds fast landing pages with one offer, one form and the trust signals your buyers look for, then tests versions against each other.
Not sure which channels are right for you? We can start with the data in your current advertising account.
SEARCH → CLICKS → ENQUIRIES → SALES
A connected paid media system, not isolated ad campaigns. Track the journey from first search to final booking.
Signs your ad account needs a new manager
Most business owners contact us after noticing one of these:
Is your ad spend working as hard as it should?
If two or more apply, a free audit will show where the budget is leaking and what to fix first.
Cost per lead keeps rising while the number of enquiries stays flat or falls.
You cannot log in to your own Google Ads account, or your current agency runs ads from an account in its name.
Reports show clicks and impressions but not leads or sales, so nobody can say what the spend returns.
The search terms report is full of irrelevant searches, such as job seekers or people looking for free versions of what you sell.
Every campaign uses the same broad settings and the account has not changed in months.
Facebook ads get likes and comments but no bookings.
How much do Google Ads management services cost in Australia?
Google Ads management in Australia usually costs between $500 and $5,000 a month in agency fees, on top of the money you pay Google for clicks. Australian agencies publish fee ranges of $500 to $5,000 (AIAD) and $800 to $2,000 (Digital8), depending on account size and the number of channels.
Agencies charge in three main ways:
Flat monthly fee
One set fee each month for an agreed scope
Percentage of ad spend
Commonly 10% to 20% of monthly media spend, often with a minimum fee (OuterBox)
Hybrid
A base fee plus a smaller percentage above a set budget
Know what goes to the platform — and what goes to management.
We explain campaign management fees and advertising spend separately, so you can see the scope and charges clearly. Ask for a tailored quote for your account and the channels you plan to run.
Google's own policy for third parties says an agency must tell you about any management fee in writing and report the exact amount Google charged, separate from its own fee. We do both on every invoice and report.
How much should you spend on Google Ads?
Most Australian small businesses start with $500 to $2,000 a month in ad spend, according to Digital8's guide (updated July 2026), and adjust once they see cost per lead. The right budget depends on your cost per click, how many leads you need and what each customer is worth to you.
Clicks cost more in some industries than others. Digital8 lists average cost per click of $10.61 for legal, $13.37 for finance and insurance, $4.00 for home services and $1.82 for ecommerce in Australia.
Decide how many new leads you want each month.
Estimate your conversion rate. WordStream's 2026 benchmarks found a median of 8.18% across 13,474 US search campaigns.
Multiply leads needed by the cost per click, then divide by the conversion rate.
20 leads · $4 per click · 8% conversion rate
For example, 20 leads at a $4 cost per click and an 8% conversion rate needs about 250 clicks, or $1,000 a month. Your real figures will differ, so we review them after the first 30 days.
Indicative ad budget: $1,000 per month — actual costs depend on your industry, account and conversion rate.
Google Ads or Facebook ads: which one should you use?
Use Google Ads first if people already search for your service, because you reach them at the moment they want to buy. Use Facebook and Instagram ads when demand needs creating, when your offer is visual, or when you want to stay in front of past visitors. Many businesses run both, with each channel doing a different job.

A lower cost per lead on Meta does not always mean cheaper customers, because search leads often book at a higher rate. We judge both channels on cost per sale, not cost per lead.
US$4.73 billion
Paid social is a big part of Australian marketing budgets. The Digital 2026: Australia report from Meltwater and We Are Social put social media ad spend in Australia at US$4.73 billion, up 11% in a year.
What changed in Google Ads in 2026
Google has moved more of the work to automation, which makes setup and tracking matter more than before. The two changes that affect most accounts this year are AI Max for Search and the end of Dynamic Search Ads.
AI Max for Search is now switched on by default for new Search campaigns. It expands matching and can write ad text and choose landing pages for you. It can find new searches, but it can also spend on loose matches if nobody checks the search terms.
Dynamic Search Ads are being retired. Google is moving them to AI Max, with the automatic switch now set for February 2027, according to Search Engine Journal.
Automation works best when it learns from real business results. That is why we connect enhanced conversions and offline conversion data before scaling any campaign, and why we still review search terms by hand every week.
Looking for a Google AdWords agency?
A Google AdWords agency and a Google Ads agency are the same thing. Google renamed AdWords to Google Ads on 24 July 2018, and says the change did not affect campaign performance or reporting. Many business owners still search for the old name, so you will see both terms used.
AdWords is now Google Ads.
The platform itself has changed far more than its name since then. Campaign types such as Performance Max and AI Max did not exist under AdWords, and much of the bidding now runs on automation. That makes the setup, tracking and weekly checks behind good Google Ads management services more important than the old manual tasks.
If your account was built years ago and has not been rebuilt since, an audit will show which old settings still cost you money.
Who our paid media agency works with
Our paid media agency works with Australian businesses that sell services or products to a defined market, from single location clinics to national online stores. We work with clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and regional areas.
Local service businesses and tradies
Plumbers, electricians, cleaners and removalists need calls from their service area, often on the same day. We focus on call ads, location targeting by suburb and ad schedules that match the hours you answer the phone.
Clinics, dentists and aesthetic businesses
Health businesses face extra rules on top of Google's and Meta's own policies. The TGA prohibits advertising prescription only medicines to the public, including cosmetic injectables, and this covers abbreviations and slang. AHPRA rules also limit testimonials about clinical care. We write ads and landing pages that promote consultations and the practitioner, not the restricted product.
Online stores
For ecommerce brands, we connect your store to Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager, run Shopping and catalogue ads, and report on return on ad spend by product.
B2B and professional services
Accountants, lawyers, consultants and software companies often have long sales cycles. We combine Google Search with LinkedIn and remarketing, and track leads through to closed deals where your CRM allows.
Google Partner agency status: what it means
A Google Partner agency is one that meets Google's requirements on account performance, ad spend and staff certification. Partner status shows the agency manages real budgets and keeps certified staff, but it does not guarantee results for your account.
To keep the badge, Google says an agency needs:
70%+
An optimisation score of at least 70% across its manager account
US$10,000+
At least US$10,000 in ad spend across managed accounts over 90 days
50%+
At least 50% of its account strategists holding a Google Ads certification
Premier Partner status goes to the top 3% of Partner companies in each country, judged each year on client growth, client retention, product range and spend.
A Partner badge should never replace the fundamentals: transparent reporting, access to your own accounts and a campaign plan you understand. Ask us which current certifications apply to your account team.
Our Google Ads management process
A structured campaign workflow: audit, clean setup, careful launch, optimisation and straightforward reports.
Audit (week 1)
We review your current account, tracking, landing pages, competitors and search terms, then send a plain list of what is costing you money. If you have no account, we map the keywords and budget you need.
Tracking and setup (weeks 1 to 2)
We fix or install conversion tracking, call tracking and enhanced conversions, then build or rebuild campaigns with clear structure and negative keywords.
Launch and learn (weeks 3 to 6)
Campaigns go live with a set budget. We check search terms, bids and ads several times a week while the automated bidding learns.
Optimise and scale (month 2 onward)
We cut what does not convert, move budget to what does and test new ads and landing pages every month.
Report
You get a monthly report with spend, leads, cost per lead, sales where tracked and the changes we made, plus a live dashboard you can open any time.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the practical questions business owners ask about paid advertising.
Can you take over my existing Google Ads account?
Yes. We ask for access through our manager account, so your history, data and settings stay in place. We audit what is already running before changing anything, then keep what works and fix what does not.
Who owns the Google Ads account and the data?
You do. We manage your accounts through access you grant, and you can remove it at any time. Google’s third party policy also gives you the right to ask for your customer ID and see your cost data directly.
Is Google Ads worth it for a small business?
It can be, when people already search for what you sell and you track leads properly. Google Ads management services make the most difference for small accounts, where every wasted click hurts. Start with a budget that buys enough clicks to measure, focus on a small number of high intent keywords and judge results on cost per lead after the first month.
Should I use Google Ads or SEO?
Google Ads brings traffic from the day campaigns go live, but stops when you stop paying. SEO takes months to build but keeps bringing traffic without a cost per click. Many businesses use ads for quick leads while their SEO grows.
How long before Google Ads shows results?
Search campaigns can bring leads in the first week. Automated bidding usually needs a few weeks of conversion data before performance settles, so judge the account on the first 60 to 90 days rather than the first few days.
Can clinics advertise cosmetic injectables on Google or Facebook?
No. The TGA prohibits advertising prescription only medicines such as cosmetic injectables to the public in Australia. Clinics can promote consultations, the practitioner and other services, and we write campaigns within those limits.
